The Pink Mango is a coffee shop situated in the heart of Stellenbosch where students can visit to catch up with some friends or change their scenery to study or work on assignments. The objectives for it was to create a business and identify potential influencers, like Cape Town magazine on Instagram and TikTok, to represent them on social media channels.
To incentivise influencers to visit the coffee shop, we are rewarding those who successfully achieve the requirements to put the store on the map with a credit card to be used at any store representing The Pink Mango. This creates a sense of trust between the consumer and The Pink Mango while enhancing the chances of creating brand-loyal consumers in the future.
The Pink Mango is a female-owned business, as seen by the bright pink colour. Their mission is to provide customers with affordable and extraordinary baked goods that are delicious, aesthetically pleasing, and worth capturing a photo of. The vision is to establish itself in the food and beverage industry by branching out to different locations in the Western Cape and beyond. They also wish to establish themselves as a female-empowered company in the tourism sector by expanding their services to lounges, hotels, and venues.
Fun Fact: The brand was created to reflect my passion for baking and my childhood dream to start a business. The Pink Mango is a quirky and playful name; although I do not eat mangos or stand the smell, I liked the sound of saying it aloud.
